Just when you and your partner thought you’ve seen it all after assembling your kid’s room full of IKEA furniture, the best—or should we say—is yet to come. Instruction manuals for your kid’s play sets and houses are a whole other beast to tame. And nothing quite compares to the agony of assembling that massive, albeit beautiful, monster of a Barbie Dream House. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson can tell you a thing or two about that.
The actor was on his way out, when his 3-year-old, Jasmine, batted her adorable eyes and asked him to build the Barbie house.. Doing what any loving partner would do, he decided to pawn it off on his longtime girlfriend Lauren Hashian. “Daddy can do anything, but let’s get Mommy because she’s awesome at this and wanted to personally put it together for you,” he tells his daughter.
Sorry, Mom! Looks like you got the short end of it this time. The Rock better watch his back, because it’s only a matter of time until Hashian strikes back with a vengeance. And next time, it could be building a full-size play house for the backyard. The horror!
