, The Patrick Star game was announced alongside a new trailer. The Spongebob Squarepants spin-off launches for PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 4, 2024.
The Patrick Star Game is a single-player, sandbox game starring the fan favorite starfish. Players will explore iconic Bikini Bottom locations like Glove World, and The Dump with physics-based gameplay. Patrick can complete missions from his friends including Spongebob, Sandy Cheeks, and Plankton, and complete tasks like collecting jars of mayonnaise to unlock new outfits.
The Patrick Star Game features the voices fans know and love from Spongebob Squarepants. Bill Fagerbakke , Tom Kenny , Rodger Bumpass , Clancy Brown , and more will return. “It has been an absolute pleasure to work once again with Nickelodeon/Paramount Consumer Products. We are incredibly thankful to be expanding our on-going relationship in adapting iconic IP’s into family-friendly video games,” says Outright Games Managing Director Stephanie Malham. “It is an honor to work on an iconic and beloved franchise like ‘SpongeBob SquarePants’.
