Fresh off an NLCS run, San Diego was looking forward to a full season with … deep breath … Fernando Tatis Jr., Juan Soto, Manny Machado, Xander Bogaerts, Yu Darvish, Blake Snell and Josh Hader.
For this, there’s plenty of blame to go around, even if it isn’t really actionable. Let’s go through the pain points:
