Phantom Liberty and Cyberpunk 2.0 offer a whole lot of things to buy, namely cyberware, which can cost upwards of $100K per slot, and a bunch of new cars and weapons to boot. As such, you can burn through cash quickly. But you can also make cash quickly.
This is the opposite advice I gave in Starfield, because collecting weapons and armor to sell was deeply annoying with how fast they made you encumbered, and you were selling them for pennies. Not true for Cyberpunk. You can hold loads of weapons before maxing out your load, and a piece of cyberware can up your carrying capacity to something like 400+ pounds. Phantom Liberty also gives you carrying capacity shards inside airdrops.
So, you collect all guns, all rarities. Once you are “full” you head to a drop point or vendor and sell everything you don’t want to actively use. This can net you anywhere from $20K to $100K, depending on where you are in the game and what rarities you’re selling. Don’t forget about the melee weapon tab too. You can also sell clothes, but for less money, and I don’t think I’d bother. I dismantle those .
Speaking of dismantling, the one exception to the sell rule here may be in the endgame when you starting having all legendaries in every weapon and cyberware slot. If you dismantle legendary rarity weapon instead of selling them, they will give you valuable tier 5 components that you will use to upgrade iconic weapons and all your cyberware to max level over time.
Just playing the game normally, doing side missions and crimes and airdrops and main missions, collecting and selling all these weapons, should give you more cash than you can even spend. It’s a far cry from launch, when there was barely enough money earned in the entire game to even get all the cars. It’s different now, but selling weapons is still your best bet.
