Her Majesty treats herself to a British staple on her summer holiday
Just like most people on their summer holidays, the Queen is partial to treating herself with a takeaway – and there is one she always gets while she stays in Scotland at Balmoral.
Speaking to Fabulous, a source said: “She occasionally treats herself to fish and chips when at Balmoral.And it's not just in Scotland she eats them either, when she's back at Windsor she occasionally request the dish - all be it for one of her chefs to make it in-house. He served as the Queen’s personal chef at Buckingham Palace between the 1980s to the 1990s and recalls many quirks about the royal palate.
It was also revealed that she is also partial to another Scottish favourite, Dundee cake, when she travels. Her Majesty is also particular about the type of water she drinks - often requesting Malvern water was brought on board for use in her tea.Prince William, 40, is a big fan of pizza, Chinese and Nandos.
