The Office star Brian Baumgartner shares what he thinks his character, Kevin Malone, is doing now. First airing in 2005 on NBC, The Office would go on to become one of the most beloved sitcoms of its generation. The show stars Steve Carell as bumbling office manager Michael Scott, whose unconventional leadership methods lead to a vast array of problems both inside and outside the workplace for his quirky staff.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Although The Office has now been off the air for nearly 10 years, love for the show and its many characters persists. While Carell's Scot, John Krasinski's Jim, Jenna Fischer's Pam, and Rainn Wilson's Dwight were often front and center in the show, a number of supporting characters also stole fans' hearts.
"I hope he’s still at his bar where he ended the finale. And I hope he’s having a great time chatting with people and that he never ever has to do the numbers again.” Kevin was never a particularly skilled accountant, and The Office finale reveals that he had actually been cooking the books at Dunder Mifflin for years, using a number he made up called "Kelevin" to fix his various accounting errors. Although audiences don't get to see too much of Kevin working at his new bar in the finale, the ending was certainly fitting for a character who clearly had no business being an accountant.
While The Office has been off the air for a number of years now, streaming has allowed the show to live on and find new audiences. Talk of a reunion or a special episode of some kind has persisted since the finale, with fans still clearly eager to catch up with the beloved characters of The Office and find out how their lives have changed since the show ended.
