The Mummy, the Brendan Fraser-starring action movie released in 1999, returns to AMC Theatres later this month.
AMC Theatres announced that The Mummy will return to the big screen on April 26, 2024, in honor of the film’s 25th anniversary. Advanced tickets are on sale now. Click“Deep in the Egyptian desert, a handful of people searching for a long-lost treasure have just unearthed a 3,000 year old legacy of terror,” the synopsis reads.
The Mummy was a huge hit for Universal Pictures at the time of its releasing, making approximately $416.4 million at the global box office off an estimated budget of $80 million. It was followed by two direct sequels, 2001’s, a spin-off following Dwayne Johnson’s character from The Mummy Returns, also came in 2002.
The Mummy returns to AMC Theatres on April 26, 2024.
