Chelsey Quaw had been missing from Saik'uz First Nation since Oct. 11, 2023, her remains were found on Nov. 6, 2023. Her family described her as having the 'most amazing spirit.'

“Chelsey had the most amazing spirit, beautiful strength and independence,” Heron said in the statement. “Most importantly, she had an incredible impact on those in her life.
