Utopian ideas abound when talking about metaverse fashion. At its best, it suggests a boundary-breaking, imaginatively expansive realm where we can express our identities more freely and embrace new and ambitious forms of creative work. The reality is that, like much of the rest of the fashion world, a lot of it is still boring, badly designed, and claiming to be more transformative than it is.
