The sequel continues the story of Brie Larson's Carol Danvers in the MCU, with the hero now being joined by Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, daughter of Carol's best friend Maria, and with Ms.

In total numbers, The Marvels' trailer does not have the biggest dislike count of the MCU on YouTube, with that mark going to the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney At Law, which got a whooping 554,000 dislikes.

Phase 5 was supposed to course-correct the MCU; however, its first release — Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania — introduced the MCU's new main villain, Kang the Conqueror, to lackluster results.
