In the latest issue of Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo, the Clown Prince of Crime has been used to create a Jokerized version of Marvel's Venom. The horrifying new creature is the latest 'mutant Joker' to mysteriously terrorize Gotham.

This post contains SPOILERS for Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo #3In the latest issue of Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo, the Clown Prince of Crime has been turned into DC's very own version of Marvel's Venom, symbiote and all. Featuring a scenario where monstrous mutant Jokers have arisen all over Gotham, the Dark Knight has no choice but to work together with his ultimate nemesis.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY In the new Batman & The Joker: The Deadly Duo #3 from Marc Silvestri and Arif Prianto, Batman, Alfred, and Nightwing are analyzing the recovered teeth of one of the Joker mutants, all while the original Joker is tied up and blindfolded in the Batcave. However, these teeth rapidly grew into a brand-new organism which violently bonded with one of the cave's bats, creating a truly terrifying symbiosis not unlike Marvel's Venom.
As such, it's going to be critical that Batman and his allies find a means of curing the Joker mutants that already exist, while also finding the true identity of the villain responsible. However, they could be too far gone which may force the Dark Knight to make some hard decisions in the near future. Either way, it does seem as though teaming up with the OG Joker will be the key.
While the Clown Prince of Crime has been locked away in the Batcave, the issue ends with Batman untying Joker . With the lives of Jim Gordon and Harley Quinn hanging in the balance as well, it was only a matter of time before Batman would take the chance and seek out the Joker's help. Here's hoping their temporary alliance will be enough to stop the Venom/Joker hybrids before it's too late.
