The Hurry-Up: Aaron Scott Jr. said it would be 'a blessing' to earn an offer from Ohio State, his family's favorite team, this summer and Noah Rogers puts OSU in his top 5.
One of the fastest-rising cornerbacks in Ohio in the 2024 cycle is still in search of an Ohio State offer.has picked up 15 Division I offers total, including from the likes of Notre Dame, Tennessee, West Virginia, Michigan, Indiana and Boston College. But there’s still one offer the 6-foot-1, 160-pound cornerback craves: Ohio State.. “They all grew up watching Ohio State. So it would be a blessing to get an offer from them.
Scott Jr. will have his chance to earn his offer at one of Ohio State’s recruiting camps this summer, though he’s unsure specifically of which one he’ll attend because he is focused on finishing his high school track season first. “I want to show the coaches my footwork and how elusive I am with my speed,” Scott Jr. said of his goal when he camps with OSU. “I want to show them my breaks and how I can guard if we do one-on-ones and how physical I am.”
Scott Jr. is currently rated the 276th-best prospect in the 2024 class and the 28th-best cornerback. He’s the second-rated cornerback in Ohio in 2024 behind Glenville product Bryce West. In late March, Scott Jr. took his lone visit of the spring to OSU for a spring practice and was impressed with what he saw.
