"Blessed day," Serena Joy says to her fellow Wives at the fancy ball she and Fred attend in Washington, D.C."Blessed day," each of the Wives repeats. Then they talk about the waiters being eye candy, and we all throw up a little in our mouths thinking about this hypocritical pack of vultures.
It's all . . . just a little too much. Getting to Canada was supposed to mean safety. The Canadians aren't treating these refugees like our current government is treating Latin American refugees at our border. They're welcoming them with open arms and helping them settle, and have been doing so for years now. It's almost prepostrous to think that this single baby would change anything in the Canadian government's stance on refugees or extradition.
