Phillip later fell out of the story. Some believe he was also dropped off at a foster home, others said he was murdered and buried by Floyd while on the road. He attempted to escape in 1963, seizing the opportunity during a medical visit, and robbed a bank. However, all of this was uncovered far too late to save Suzanne. The horrific truth of what she suffered only came to light after her death, which to this day Floyd has refused to speak about.Pieces started being put together when he became a person of interest in her death. In 1991, Floyd was arrested and convicted of possession of a firearm after his former felony conviction.
