Willis opened her investigation into Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election in February 2021, shortly after he called Georgia secretary of stateand demanded the local official “find” him the precise number of votes he needed to beatin the state. Willis’s probe later expanded to include the scheme by a slate of fake electors to steal Trump a second term.
