Artists, designers, and local businesses came together on Sunday to shine a spotlight on the culture here in Columbus.Artists like Sabrina Garcia-Santos turned an old dumpster into a work of art.
“I usually use all the colors when I make my art as you can see," she said. "That was my goal to do trippy art a lot. My goal is to us as many colors as possible, so it stands out." Garcia-Santos is joined by other artists in the heart of the University District, turning Pearl Alley into a place where local artists can thrive.
“We already painted some of the dumpsters in Pearl Alley before so why don’t we do that again paint some of the unpainted ones and bring more people together so all of the bands are all local across both days and all of our artists. All of our vendors live within a couple of miles from here," organizer Nora Gerber told ABC 6.
