The Christmas Fund helps the less fortunate through the Christmas season, the cold winter months, and throughout the year.
In the end, we received 3,730 donations in the campaign, which brought in a total of $895,399.04.
One of the last donations to arrive before the end of the year was $500 from a dear friend, the artist Pat Martin Bates. She included a tribute message to the resilient ones, and mentioned Jo Manning and Erika Kurth, two dearly departed members of the local arts scene, as well as Scottish politician Fiona Hyslop and Princess Lilibet, the daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Total donations for 2022, including monthly donations as well as other bequests, amounted to $1,166,051.25.
