The fashion glitterati was in full force at the Swarovski Book of Dreams party.

“What could be done with crystals, except make rivers of them?” said André Breton, the French writer, poet, and father of Surrealism. His words were emblazoned on the gallery walls at Hudson Mercantile, where Swarovski launched itson Saturday night in New York.

? “The idea was to showcase the capability of crystals as creative materials,” mused Markus Langes-Swarovski, while mingling in the gallery filled with many of the same fashion and art world luminaries featured in the pages of the magazine.
