The new owners of The City Diner in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood – just minutes from the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo – are planning a grand re-opening for later this month.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The new owners of The City Diner in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood – just minutes from the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo -- are planning a grand re-opening on July 20. They plan to show off the revitalization of the iconic diner, a landmark nearly hidden in urban sprawl. And they are introducing a classic American comfort food menu, which includes an all-day breakfast.

Brothers Qusay, Louay and Adam Kahlil took over the closed diner space in December and kept the name The City Diner. The brothers and their two teenage sisters cleaned up the place and soft opened on February 1. After months of refining the menu and building staff, they’re ready to show off their hard work.
