A new tie-in toy for The Batman offers fans their best look at Bruce Wayne's other identity as a drifter. Robert Pattinson will soon debut as Warner Bros.' latest version of the iconic DC hero in the Matt Reeves-directed film. With its March 2022 release date now nearing, marketing for the film is slowly ramping up, hence the release of official merchandise for the movie, including action figures.
Originally supposed to star Ben Affleck, The Batman was going to be the Caped Crusader's solo film within the DCEU. But after the actor left the comic book franchise, it has been reworked into an entirely different film. It now exists in an entirely different universe, with no ties to the current big-screen iteration of the Justice League and all their tie-in characters.
