The event is made up of a 10 km walk and run, a 1.5 km Family Fun Run, and a post-race festival. It's expected to be the biggest one yet.
The 34th annual Times Colonist 10K is set to take place Sunday.
Thousands of participants will take to the streets of Victoria to complete a loop that takes runners through the Fairfield and James Bay neighbourhoods in one of Victoria’s most popular community events. If you’re planning on visiting the event, expect some delays as intersections along the race will be closed intermittently. For a full breakdown of which roads will be impacted by the race,While the race is ongoing, the roads within the race route will not be closed off. However, drivers will need to cross the route at specific intervals, and they will be directed by the police. This will continue until the roads are fully reopened.
