The base model's screen arrangement is different. Will buyers like it?
According to an illustraion we found deep in the interior concept galleries provided by Ford, it looks like the entry level 2024 Mustang interior displays will be two large, tablet-like displays—in contrast to the higher-trim displays that look like one large, cohesive unit. If we're being honest, it doesn't look like a very elegant way to stage the displays. It almost looks like Ford just made some cavities in the dashboard and stuck two iPads in them.
In the higher trim Mustangs, the digital gauge cluster and infotainment display are much closer together, merging into one seemingly continuous unit. We're unsure why Ford would change things up this much for the base model. One guess is that the screens may be smaller than those found on the 2024 Mustang GT or the Dark Horse, but we can't confirm that until Ford releases screen specs.
