The 2024 Camaro will not have 4-cylinder variants.
The base engine was a surprising omission from the brand's recent press release announcing pricing for 2024 Camaros. That, per a statement from a Chevrolet representative to, accurately reflected that 4-cylinder Camaro variants will not be offered in the car's final model year. The Camaro lineup will otherwise continue as it has over the majority of the car's long life.
That means your options are a 3.6-liter V-6 and two different 6.2-liter V-8s, one of which is the supercharged LT4 option found in the ZL1. The new base model is the V-6-equipped LT, which starts at $32,495 and effectively eliminates any chance of a new Camaro being purchased for under $30,000 in the car's final model year.
Aside from the end of four-cylinder Camaros, the only other major change for the 2024 model year is the addition of the Collector's Edition trim package first announced back in March. That is available on higher trim levels of the V-6, plus both V-8 variants. As the ZL1 has been the headlining Camaro since its debut in 2017, the supercharged variant seems likely to be the most collectible variant of the car's final model year.
