Houston's weather lived up to its forecast on Thanksgiving: It was a soggy mess that was expected to stay that way for days to follow.

Cameron Batiste, a National Weather Service meteorologist, said areas of Deer Park and Pasadena experienced some street flooding with widespread rainfall, ranging up to 4 inches. The rain could inundate other areas near Houston later.
