Lynn Maxwell Gerstner, 72, pleaded guilty in June 2020 to one count of distribution of child pornography, according to the Department of Justice. As part of his sentence, Gerstner must pay $20,000 in restitution and was ordered to undergo a lifetime of supervised release after prison. The minor shared sexually explicit videos with him for some time but then tried to end the relationship. In response, Gerstner contacted the minor’s employer, saying he had videos of the minor that were “extremely sexual in nature” and suggesting that the minor be fired, officials said.Instead, the employer contacted law enforcement in San Antonio.
“This defendant spent the majority of his life as a predator, exploiting young children for his own sexual gratification,” U.S. Attorney Ashley Hoff said in a statement.
