Some Texans may need to start reevaluating their life choices. What may come as no surprise to some, Texas has ranked third in the U.S. for 'sinfulness' by WalletHub, a personal finance website.

Texas also ranked sixth in vanity, which WalletHub quantified by beauty salons per capita, Google search interest for the most common plastic surgery procedures and expenditures per household on personal care products and services.The states that ranked higher overall than Texas were California at No. 2 and Nevada at No. 1. Nevada finished in the top spot for greed and jealousy, and in the top 10 for six of the seven categories.
Not far behind Texas was Florida at No. 4 and Louisiana at No. 5, while Idaho, Wyoming, and Vermont ranked as the least sinful states, according to WalletHub's rankings. Even though some states graded better or worse than others, WalletHub says"the cost of state sins is something we share as a nation."
