Camp was organized at the Terrace Sportsplex from Aug. 20 to Aug. 23

The National Ringette School visited Terrace between Aug. 20 and Aug. 23, hosting more than 60 athletes from across northern B.C.

Making the first time the camp has been held in the north, it hosted athletes from cities like Prince George, Smithers, Houston, Terrace and more. The camp was made possible thanks to the efforts of former president of Terrace Ringette Association Rayanne Vandenbrook. She advocated for the camp considering growing number of players in the north and the need for local opportunities.

For those interested in trying ringette, Terrace Ringette Association will be organizing a “Come Try Ringette” event on September 15 at the Terrace Sportplex. This program is open to ages three and up, including adults. For more details, visit the Terrace Ringette Association's website or their Facebook page, or email [email protected].
