$LUNA has now surpassed $XRP by market cap for the first time
The former is currently valued at $37.8 billion, according to CoinMarketCap data. Its price has soared more than 27% over the last 24 hours, significantly outperforming other major cryptocurrencies.LUNA came under severe pressure in January, losing roughly half of its value in the span of two weeks. TheHowever, the LUNA price has managed to pull off an impressive comeback over the last month, eventually hitting a new all-time high of $103.88 earlier today.
A $1 billion LUNA sale that was held by the Luna Foundation Guard in late February was a major shot in the arm for the cryptocurrency. Its price is up a whopping 105% since the introduction of a bitcoin-denominated forex reserve for the TerraUSD stablecoin.
