Scheduled Monday through Friday, 36.25 hours per week. This position will start as soon as possible, and is a temporary student job for summer 2024. The Student Office Assistant reports primarily to the Client Services Supervisor and will assist the Area Office team and the organization with customer service, and administrative and clerical support, for the delivery of quality social and paramedic services and programs to the people and communities served by the Algoma District Services Administration Board.

This clerical position is an ideal opportunity for a high school, college or university student who has completed courses in office computer applications, has a strong client service orientation and experience serving the public in person and on the phone, is able to handle and protect confidential personal and health information in accordance with legislation and internal policies, and who is interested in a career in a related field, such as office administration, social services, early...

The rate of pay for this position is $18.54 + 6% vacation pay + 2% in lieu of paid sick time + 4.5% in lieu of paid holidays=$20.86 per hour. This is a temporary job open to student applicants up to age 29.
