Conditions have taken a turn for the worse this Wednesday morning
Wrap up well today because the weather forecast suggests that it will continue to be colder than usual for this time of year, while unsettled conditions will also bring plenty of rain.
This comes ahead of the arrival of heavy rain this afternoon, with Munster and south Leinster enduring the worst of the rainfall, potentially as much as 10mm. "Tonight, outbreaks of rain will mainly affect Ulster and the eastern half of Leinster and will be heavy at times, especially near the coast. Connacht and Munster will be mainly dry with some clear spells in the west and southwest. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees, coldest in Munster with light to moderate northerly winds.
