After high temperatures last July forced the summer race to reschedule for the month of October, the organizing committee pledged to look at whether it would be prudent to move the race permanently.'A great day for a run': The 94th running of the historic St. John’s Tely 10 road race successful after summer postponementNext summer, the 95th annual Tely 10 will be held on June 25, four weeks earlier than its historical date in late July.
In an email, Newfoundland and Labrador Athletics Association executive director George Stanoev wrote that the decision to move the race was made after reviewing temperature patterns for the last decade.
