Teen shot and killed after a birthday party. JSO is still searching for suspects.
A teenager was shot and killed at an apartment on Baymeadows Road– A teenager was shot and killed early Saturday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.Police say the shooting happened as a birthday party was ending. The teenager left an apartment and was gunned down. Witnesses at the party heard the gunshots.
“It just makes me upset. The Nashville shooting that just happened, it just makes me feel a certain kind of way. It’s like why is this always happening?” said Tony Pham who lives near the complex. “It does not make me really scared. I do think we need to do a better job of cracking down on crime in Jacksonville,” said Matthew Stefanick who lives at the complex.Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or CrimeStoppers at 1-866-845-TIPS.
