A 13-year-old was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries after the teen was attacked by at least two pit bulls, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy who is fully trained as a paramedic responded to the scene in the 22000 block of Escalante Run in northeast Bexar County on Thursday afternoon.
BCSO said six pit bulls were removed from the home, but at least two were believed to be involved in the attack. It’s unknown if the dogs were provoked or what led to the mauling.
