SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO – A 15-year-old passenger was killed and an adult driver was arrested following a street-racing crash Tuesday in South San Francisco, police said.An investigation revealed two vehicles were racing each other westbound when one of them lost control and hit a wall and a tree, according to the South San Francisco Police Department.

A 15-year-old passenger was killed and a second adult passenger suffered major injuries, police said. The adult driver was arrested and booked into San Mateo County jail on a charge of vehicular manslaughter with negligence, police said. The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information related to the case to call 650-877-8900.
