Ted Cruz team compares Senator to Rosa Parks in lawsuit over $10,000 loan
Ted Cruz's lawyers filed a court document comparing the Texas Senator to civil rights hero Rosa Parks because of his inability to withdraw more than $250,000 from his campaign funds.
"The FEC also asserts that Senator Cruz and the Cruz Committee inflicted their injuries on themselves because they could have arranged to repay the Senator's loans using pre-election funds. Yes, and Rosa Parks could have sat in the back of the bus," his lawyers wrote. U.S. Sen.
