Toronto Police detectives Sinclair, 45, and Irwin, 38, were sent to a downtown apartment where a career criminal faced eviction. As the cops entered, the suspect fired several shots, two hitting Sinclair in the chest, and one hitting Irwin in the head. Both died during surgery.
