Sturmay and her team, including vice-skip Danielle Schiemann, second Dezaray Hawes, lead Paige Papley, and coach Ted Appelman, made a remarkable debut in 2024, topping their pool with a 7-1 record. They defeated formidable opponents like defending champions Team Kerri Einarson, Team Kaitlyn Lawes, and Team Krista McCarville, setting the stage for an exciting return to the national stage in 2025
