taylor swift and beyoncé unite at eras tour movie premiere: 'she's been a guiding light'
The pop superstars united Wednesday night at the Los Angeles debut of Swift's new concert film, posing together for photos and a short video together while seated inside the Grove's AMC Theatre.
"I'm so glad. I'll never know what my life would've been like without @beyonce's influence," Swift wrote onafter the event. "The way she's taught me and every artist out here to break rules and defy industry norms. Her generosity of spirit. Her resilience and versatility. She's been a guiding light throughout my career and the fact that she showed up tonight was like an actual fairy tale.
The importance of both tours on local economies was noted throughout the summer, with Beyoncé and Swift fans booking up massive numbers of local hotel rooms and spending money at regional retailers in various cities around the world.
