October 08, 2021 - 17:29 BST Rebecca Lewis Chicago Fire star Taylor Kinney has taken to social media in order to share an important message with fans. The actor, who is one of the leads in the NBC drama, took to Instagram to post a rare picture to honor Fire Prevention Month, teaming up with First Alert.
"C’mon over and fix mine," joked one fan as others offered to give him their number so he could check their alarms, and many thanked him for the reminder. However his co-star Miranda Rae Mayo accidentally let it slip that Taylor's character, Lieutenant Kelly Severide, would make it out of the dangerous situation when the actress, who stars as firefighter Stella Kidd, shared a throwback picture from the set of the 1990 film Cry Baby, starring Johnny Depp and Amy Locane. The picture featured the two on a blanket as director John Waters coached them through their kissing scenes, which have since become iconic.
