US police in the state of New Mexico are investigating the killings of three Muslim men that they suspect are related to a fourth homicide from last year
The Council on American-Islamic Relations , the country's largest Muslim civil rights organisation, increased a reward to $10,000 from $5,000 for information leading to the suspect or suspects related to the killings.
Two of the previous victims were Muslim Pakistani men, a 27-year-old whose body was found on August 1 and a 41-year-old who was found on July 26. New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham expressed outrage at the attacks and solidarity with the southwestern state's Muslim community. "We will continue to do everything we can to support to the Muslim community of Albuquerque and greater New Mexico," she said.
