A search is underway for a suspect or suspects in a Talladega shooting left a 19-year-old woman dead and a man injured.

Officers dispatched to the scene on a report of shots fired arrived to find a 30-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand.

They were then directed to a Nissan Altima. Inside they found Kelis Cook dead in the front passenger’s seat. Central Alabama Crime Stoppers on Friday said no suspects are in custody. Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward. Anyone with information is asked to call Talladega police at 256-362-4163 or 256-362-4508. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 334-215-STOP , 1-833-AL1-STOP or via the P3-tips app.
