Taika Waititi Reveals Rita Ora Proposed to Him: “And I Said ‘Yes’ Instantly”

The couple shared stunning behind-the-scenes photos from their dreamy wedding in honor of their anniversary

In an Instagram post shared today in celebration of their wedding anniversary, the filmmaker revealed that the singer was the one who proposed to him.

“It’s actually been quite entertaining for us to see the different stories people made up and all the while getting to keep it to ourselves,” Rita said in a recent“And, I love that we now get to share what really happened—and to do it on our one year anniversary no less!” she added.The two began dating in 2021, and Ora popped the question while they were vacationing in Palm Springs in the summer of 2022.
