Despite Rebuilding Hope’s growth and longevity, many people are still unaware that there is a demand for such an organization locally, let alone that it is in need of their support,” said Rebuilding Hope. “The harsh reality is that sexual assault is still an omnipresent threat.”
Rebuilding Hope has come up with different fundraisers as they are projected to lose $110,000 per year due to reductions in the federal Victim of Crime Act funding, said the organization.Thein Tacoma has created two signature drinks to benefit Rebuilding Hope during the month of April through its Sip and Support program. People can choose either a rose latte or a ‘Strong Waters’ cocktail. Two dollars from the purchase will go to supporting survivors and victims.
