In a statement, Taco Bell said it reached out to Gregory Gregory, the trademark owner, "to see if we could work together and potentially make New Jersey the first state to free Taco Tuesday." "The way it looks now is I'm holding out against the world to give out free tacos and that's not what I'm doing," Gregory said.
