Taco Bell, after winning a trademark challenge, will be giving away Doritos Locos Tacos on the next four Tuesdays to celebrate their victory.
After winning a battle to free the phrase “Taco Tuesday” from trademark restrictions “nearly everywhere,” Taco Bell has announced some giveaways to celebrate.
Participating Taco Bell locations will be offering a free Doritos Locos Taco for the next four Tuesdays to anyone who wants to claim it with no purchase necessary, according to a news release from the Irvine-based chain. The offer is good for one taco only during normal business hours on starting next Tuesday, Aug. 15, and following on Aug. 22, Aug. 29 and Sept. 5.The promotion wraps up Sept. 12 with a DoorDash partnership. Taco Bell and the delivery service will cover a portion of the cost of orders made to participating vendors selling Mexican cuisine up to $5 million, the news release said.
