Warren scores 34 more, leads Pacers past Wizards. MORE:
Two nights after scoring a career-best 53 points in the Pacers' first game at Disney, Warren had 16 points in the third quarter to spark a 22-2 run after Washington had fought back into the game.
Especially for Warren, who shot 20 of 29 overall and 9 of 12 from 3-point range in a 127-121 victory over Philadelphia on Saturday. Washington had a 38-31 lead in the second quarter, but the Pacers ripped off a 20-2 run to take a 51-40 lead on Myles Turner's three-point play with 1:39 left. “I just like the effort. I like just the fight,” Wizards coach Scott Brooks said. “We were down. We were playing hard in the first half. They went on that 18-2 or 20-2 run and we tried everything. Couldn’t get anything to go for us and they didn’t give up. They cut it to seven late in the game but it’s a great group to coach.”
