Two men, both 32, facing multiple charges including possession of fentanyl
Two men were arrested yesterday afternoon when Sault police responded to a vehicle stopped at a green light on Lake Street — with a driver who “appeared to be unconscious.”
When officers arrived on scene at approximately 4 p.m., police say the driver “made several attempts to pull away” and “refused to comply with a bodily substances screening demand.” A further search found both the driver and passenger to be in possession of one gram each of suspected fentanyl, police say.The passenger, 32-year-old Jonathan Briault-Dewar, is charged with:None of the allegations have been tested in court and both are considered innocent unless proven guilty.
