A suspicious note turned into a joke Wednesday after Westlake Police tracked down a hotel guest during an investigation.
According to a press release, Westlake Police were called to a hotel on Detroit Avenue for a suspicious incident.When officers arrived, there was no one in the hotel room.
Police worked with hotel staff and were able to contact the guest who had been staying in the room, according to the release.
