The North District Major Crime Unit is investigating a suspicious death that happened at a Thornhill residence on March 12.
In a press release on March 15, the NDMCU said Mounties were called at approximately 6 a.m on Mar. 12. about an unresponsive man at a residence located in the 3700 block of Muller Avenue in Thornhill. “Frontline officers attended the scene and located a man deceased inside the residence,” the release said.
NDMCU is investigating the suspicious death while working closely in partnership with the Terrace RCMP and BC Coroners Service.Calling it an isolated incident with no potential danger to the public, the statement released by Cpl. Madonna Saunderson notified the public about increased police presence in the area over the following days.NDMCU can be reached at 250-638-7400.
