Belleville police report

Belleville Police Service responded to 193 calls for service in the 72-hour period from 5 a.m. on March 3, 2023 to 5 a.m. on March 6, 2023., 2023 at 7:0 p.m., police stopped a vehicle as the driver was suspended. The male was identified as 43-year-old Robert Wilson of Carrying Place. Further checks revealed that he was wanted for breaching his probation order. He was subsequently arrested and released with a first appearance date of theOn March 5, 2023 at 8:40 p.m.

When police arrived, they identified the male as 32-year-old Josh Lemche of Belleville who also had outstanding warrants for theft under $5000 and failing to appear in court. Lemche was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing on March 6, 2023.On March 5, 2023 at 10 p.m., police received a call to a Bell Boulevard restaurant regarding an intoxicated male trying to leave in a vehicle. The male had left prior to police arrival, however, police located the vehicle on North Front Street.
